The Kansas City Chiefs hope that their draft picks in 2026 help the team get back to the Super Bowl this season. While fans are always going to have mixed thoughts on the players the team drafts, one talking head is impressed by what Kansas City has done so far is Skip Bayless.

This is a bit of a surprise considering that Bayless has never hesitated to slam Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. But, he took to X on Friday night after the Chiefs selected R Mason Thomas in the third round and, while the nature of the tweet was him being mad that the Chiefs got Thomas over the Cowboys, he was complimentary of the Chiefs' draft as a whole all caps and all.

Skip Bayless can't help but praise Chiefs' draft so far

In one post, Bayless applauded the Chiefs for drafting Thomas in the third round and taking Mansoor Delane in the first round. Bayless said Delane was the best cornerback in the draft and that Thomas is the second-best edge rusher, calling him "a bad you-know-what".

The Chiefs have been focusing on defense early in the draft, selecting Delane, Peter Woods, and Thomas with their first three picks. At least according to Bayless, two of those players are going to be absolute game-changers and that's what Chiefs fans are hoping for.

Hopefully, Thomas lives up to this hype and Bayless continues to be sad about the Chiefs landing him. That's the kind of content Chiefs fans are striving for.
